Dave Hegarty | Owner
Dave is a third-generation business owner with a robust 20-year tenure in the realm of pre-engineered metal buildings and sheet metal craftsmanship. His educational voyage encompassed studies at Iowa Central Community College, followed by an academic stint at Colorado State University. Dave's professional journey took root during his role as a night freezer stocker at Sam's Club in Ft. Collins. However, his true passion ignited when he joined his father, Pat, in the construction industry in 2003 and Hegarty Sheet Metal & Construction was established in April 2019. Beyond the blueprints, Dave finds joy in the company of his wife and three children, all of whom share a mutual love for camping, boating, and the spirited world of youth sports.
Lori Herrington | Project Manager
Lori has seamlessly integrated into this exceptional team, infusing it with her wealth of experience. With a background predominantly rooted in the medical field, Lori's journey boasts a tapestry of business ownership spanning various industries. Her mastery of time management is matched only by her unwavering dedication in collaborating with sub-contractors on-site. Lori's creative prowess finds expression through her partnership with several historical societies, where she has lent her talents to design and interior architecture projects. Notably, Lori orchestrated the triumph of a thriving HVAC company for two decades. Amidst her professional pursuits, Lori unwinds through her passion for crafting and immersing herself in the vibrant energy of live music performances.
Josh Huckabey | Site Manager
With a career spanning over a decade in the building supplies industry, Josh's construction journey really began in the early 90s. As a proud third-generation employee, he immersed himself in the intricate world of construction. His expertise began to flourish when he became General Superintendent, overseeing the construction of bridges, retaining walls, moment walls and other specialty work. As a certified building and roofing installer with Kirby, Josh has honed in on his skills, making him one of the best in the industry. Beyond the construction site, Josh finds inspiration in music and sports.
